Hand-Carved Basotho Couple

The glorious Mountain people of Lesotho are perfectly depicted in these carved pieces. Wrapped in the traditional "Kobo" (blanket) with intricate details such as folds, safety pins and designs are amazing to see.  He has in his hand a silver balled molamu and she is carrying a basket with chinkens. Incredible detail.
