Parian Bust of “Clytie”

Roman Beauty! An amazing replica of the Famous Bust of the nymph “Clytie” on a bed of leaves and concave sided circular point. Be transported to Rome with this piece. It is stamped on the back “British Museum Replica”.She is in wonderful condition with no major chips or breakages. She stands 55cm tall and is sold with a 1.2m wooden plinth. 
While the original was done in Marble and still stands in The British Museum this piece is made of Parian which is a type of porcelain and used extensively since 1840s.
