I have always been a passionate collector of antiques. For years, I felt a deep joy in finding unique pieces that brought old-world craftsmanship, character, and history into my own home. What started in 2022 as an informal passion—trading rare thrift-shop and antique finds with friends and family—quickly revealed a widespread desire for items with a soulful past.

Driven by this calling, we launched our online store in 2022. By 2023, I made the exciting decision to leave a successful 30-year corporate career in IT and customer experience design to dedicate myself fully to building NostalgiaNique. After two wonderful foundational years learning from our patrons at the Lifestyle Garden Centre, we moved our boutique to its idyllic new home in the vibrant, artistic heritage hub of Parkhurst, Johannesburg.

• Red: Used in our foreground to represent our fiery passion for our clients, alongside an urgent drive to minimize waste and promote eco-friendly practices.
