This rare and complete Marble mantle clock with matching original urns are stunningly beautiful. A stunning antique French portico clock, beautifully modelled in a stunning variegated specimen marble with salmon pink and silver grey veining will be the centrepiece of any room. Mounted with finely finished ormolu (gilded bronze) that is in excellent condition. The clock is formed as a four pillar portico with the movement mounted in a drum with the ormolu sunburst pendulum swinging gently below.
 
The porcelain hand-painted dial on enamel with delicate floral swags between the numbers. It is complete with it''s original finely fretted gilt hands, convex glass and key.
 
It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully serviced, cleaned, polished and tested by our in-house clockmaker. Ormolu pendulum is a original and depicts a sun goddess surrounded by rays. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell chime. The elegance of this piece is truly of another time in quality and uniqueness.
