Frans Groenewald Collection
Funky and Fun!! Frans Groenewald is a contemporary South African artist and illustrator based in Somerset West. He is best known for his whimsical, "tongue-in-cheek" acrylic paintings characterized by vibrant colours, playful wordplay, and recurring quirky.
1. The first piece reimagines South Africa's "Big Five" animals, The Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, and Lion with unusual habits and attitudes. (Dimensions 33cm x 33cm).
2. The second piece is a collection of smaller works framed together, Each panel features a playful take on South African landmarks and culture, such as "Cape Town Cable Car," and "Table Tennis" on Table Mountain. (Dimensions 33cm x 33cm).
