My Aunty Younus always answered "All the better for seeing you" when she was asked "How she was?" For me personally that was the most uplifting and endearing response to that simple yet important question. She is sadly not with us anymore but her loving, gentle and inspiring memories will stay with me forever. I learned from her how Being Kind and looking for opportunity where I can elevate another Human was vital and important. The cornerstone of me (Nicholas) and by extension NostalgiaNique is to always be genuine and kind in all we do. We don't do fakes as people and we certainly don't do fake in products. Authenticity is what we Value!

Firstly, I would like to personally THANK each and everyone of you and your amazing families for the opportunity to share this with you, being part of our journey so far and as always we are privileged to have served you and always look forward to serving you again. Whether you've shopped with us or have been part of our social media campaigns and have referred customers to us - we are grateful and humbled.
Our journey is about to be enhanced into surprising and beautiful paths as we look to build our unique brand and take it to heights that seemed impossible for your pleasure and enjoyment. We always hope that in all we do, we create opportunities for beauty, artistic expression and kindness.
It has been a lifelong dream of mine to create spaces that create freedom and peacefulness. NostalgiaNique affords me the opportunity to sell high quality antiques but also allows me to explore, dream bigger, do more and create awareness of how with a little help so much can be achieved.

We have been extremely happy at Lifestyle Garden Centre for the passed 15 months and importantly got to start a business that is and always will be dedicated to bringing to market the absolute best quality Antiques, Vintage and Collectables we can get, serve all who enter with dignity and respect and always deliver excellence.

As The NostalgiaNique store will be relocating to a new store that has loads of character and charm, combines indoors and outdoor areas, is much more comfortable, has an amazing ambience and certainly allows us more flexibility to display and more space for to enhance your shopping experience. We promise that we will not overcrowd/cramp the store and certainly want to make your shopping experience light and peaceful. The new boutique provides you with both a lovely indoor boutique and two outdoor patio areas that allows for easy access and amazing views of our gorgeous centre. We plan to fully move in on 1 September (Spring Day) but will be migrating throughout this month to ensure that we are still able to provide the best service and give you the attention you deserve.
We have also lined up a new range of products with a more extensive Jewellery (NEW) range, luxury Watches, Furniture , antique clocks and decorative pieces to enhance your personal collection and elevate your home with beauty and elegance. You are always welcome in store or to shop safely online.

When my adventure into the wonderful world of Antiques the beautiful by-product was enjoying the magnificence of ART in all its forms...music, sculpture, painting in water colours and oils, sketch artists, poetry, carpentry, jewellers and glassblowers... most all forms of art is inspirational. They create different stories, cultivate memories through their works and tirelessly hone their craft and skill to reach excellence.
The true masters elevate simple materials into masterful creations that live on for generations, become desirable and enrich our lives. Artist's from all over the world and generations, with their nuanced and deliberate movements have created EXPERIENCES.
We have learned to embrace the artistic beauty and that's why NostalgiaNique is specifically non-conformist in our product range as we aim to bring forward beauty and timelessness from varied design periods, countries and all forms of artistic expression. We are deliberate to create service that is choreographed and seamless and meets with the standards of the work, the artist/crafts-person has already put in.

The NostalgiaNique Freedom Space
The NostalgiaNique Freedom Space is a truly unique addition to our Antiques and Collectables business and will also be built to create memories, open opportunities and allow for open expression. Our little hideaway overlooks the beautiful garden area within Lifestyle Garden Centre and is perfect for intimate events (up to 30 people). The secret doorway will open opportunity to all who enter. Its so secret that I (after 13 months in the centre daily) have only recently discovered its existence and many of you regulars to Lifestyle would not have noticed its existence either - So surprises all round.
At its core it will be designed to allow for the introduction of up and coming young artists to bring and showcase their work, introduce themselves and where "FREE TO BE YOU" becomes a real and tangible expression for us and them. NostalgiaNique is journeying deep into the world of Art and Expression and creating the NOSTALGIANIQUE FREEDOM SPACE will be an extension of beauty and magnificence of our CORE and ensures our community is enriched through art.
It is our vision that all who enter our secret hideaway experiences joy, peace and kindness in a series hosted events that will encapsulate the spirit of oneness, freedom and community. Supporting local artists has always been a dream of mine and finding this little hidden gem has in so many ways opened the door.
The NostalgiaNique Freedom Space is only be available to our customers who shop with us and to artists that are selected by our team.
For Artists - Registration, terms and condition and information will be posted on our website from the 20/08/2024 and will be the only channel avaible for uploading and registration. We will NOT accept communication/registration via any of our other social media and business channels.
